Robert B. Parrish

Bob Parrish is a veteran trial lawyer whose practice focuses on products liability, personal injury defense, and serious maritime matters on behalf of shipowners and their insurance interests, including involvement as lead counsel in a regional oil spill and casualty response network and other environmental matters.  He handles all phases of pollution litigation, including natural resource damages assessment.  He is a published author and national speaker on a variety of topics.

Mr. Parrish is a proctor member and past chairman of the Committee on Navigation and Coast Guard Matters, past member of the Board of Directors, of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.  He is also a member of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel (past Chairman of the Admiralty Law Committee), Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, and many civic and charitable organizations.

Mr. Parrish received both his undergraduate (A.B.) and law (J.D.) degrees from Duke University in 1978.  In 1978-79, he clerked for the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat, United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, in Jacksonville, Florida, and thereafter began practice with the Firm.
