The Firm has been in existence since 1906, and has had a prominent role in the professional, business and civic life of Jacksonville during the last hundred years. Its current partners include a past president of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, a former law clerk to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, a past president of the Propeller Club of the United States, and several past presidents of the Jacksonville Bar Association. Several partners have authored articles and treatises for nationally recognized publications.
The Firm maintains close and long-standing contacts with clients and colleagues throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Scandanavia and other maritime nations.
In recent years, we have hosted interns from the law school of the University of Barcelona as part of our effort to develop closer relations with legal communities abroad.
Our offices are located in the historic El Modelo Cigar Factory building in downtown Jacksonville.
