Born and raised in Jacksonville’s beaches, Carson Proctor joined the firm in 2023.
Ms. Proctor graduated from Florida State University in 2018 with her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree, with a concentration in Environmental Law, from the University of Miami School of Law, as well as her Master’s degree in Marine Ecosystems & Society from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, & Earth Science, graduating with both degrees in 2022.
During her time at Miami Law, Ms. Proctor received the CALI Award for the Marine Ecology & Law Seminar as well as the Honorable Stanford Blake Award for the University of Miami’s Litigation Skills Program, which is given to the second- or third-year student who has excelled in trial skills. She was also heavily involved – serving as President of the Environmental Law Society, Vice Admiral of the Maritime Law Society, and Senator for the Student Bar Association, where she chaired the Constitution/Bylaws and Campus Life Committees. She was also a member of the First-Generation Law Association, Miami Law Women, and served as a PIN Pal Mentor for the Public Interest Network.
Outside of the office, Ms. Proctor enjoys fishing with her dad and riding her bike on the beach.
